Mr. Glenn has had over 35 years experience in the field of intellectual property, including experience as in-house counsel (at Altria and Rocketdyne), as a government patent attorney (at NASA Headquarters) and as outside counsel (at Cushman, Darby & Cushman; Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis; Schwartz, Jefffrey, Mack, Blumenthal & Evans).
Mr. Glenn’s in-house experiences have included addressing both domestic and foreign patent prosecution; drafting and negotiating IP related agreements including settlements and licenses; executing freedom to use clearances; counseling management on various patent and trade secret matters; and executing client education initiatives regarding IP and finding acceptable solutions to difficult IP contract matters.
His experiences in other professional roles have included extensive patent prosecution in aero-mechanical matters (pumps and rocket motors), laser optical matters, automated material handling, turbine systems, automotive technologies, packaging, printing and paper making machinery and valving. His experience also has included a heavy share of rendering legal advice on patent and data management, government contracts, ITC and litigation support work.
Mr. Glenn has been named amongst Virginia Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite”.
